Carl got his Real Estate license and started working for Century 21 Sunrise. He was Rookie of Year in both listings & sales.

1987

As part owner, Carl joined Brokers Network and quickly became one of the top sales associates. Shelly (Carl’s wife) started helping with administrative duties.

Carl received his Brokers license.

Carl joined Century 21 Town & Country. During his 17 year stay, Carl was consistently a top selling agent in an office of over 120 agents. Carl was awarded the C21 Centurion Award for sales production 10 times & received the Quality Service Award every year of his 17 year stay.

1994

2011

Chris (Carl & Shelly's son) graduated from Grand Valley State University and received his Real Estate license.

Carl and Chris started working together at Keller Williams Rochester. Carl and Chris were highest in office sales production 2012, 2013, 2015.

2012

Carl, Shelly and Chris opened Wessel Realty, an Independent Brokerage Firm. In their first year, they did over 50 transactions and $10,000,000 in sales.

2016

Sarah (Carl & Shelly's daughter) obtained her real estate license and joined Wessel Realty as a full-time agent.

2017

Wessel Realty closed 75 transactions and was voted "Best of the Best" for Real Estate in Northern Macomb County and surrounding areas.

2018

2021

Wessel Realty closed $20 million in sales.

2023

Wessel Realty opened its first brick-and-mortar location at 64541 Van Dyke STE 104 B, Washington, MI 48095
